Day 29: "Ragie Wanna Treat?! Treat!"

Rage loves treats.

Day 28: No Pain, No Gain

Strip-set Leg Presses starting at 200lbs. = Barely being able to walk for 3 days afterwards

Day 27: Pizza Night

As some of you may know, we make our own pizzas at home with our awesome Pizza Pizzazz! machine I got at Wally World a christmas ago for Tra. That thing rocks ass. Seriously. Hm, did you know that this Ragu Light has all natural ingredients? I was surprised. We've pretty much upped the ante on what foods we have in the house. I'm learning a lot about different chemicals that are in foods & better alternatives to eating those chemicals. I'm not going to be a pain in the ass about food with all of you, so don't worry.

It seems like whenever anyone mentions better food choices or eating vegetarian foods people make a face and instantly become defensive & judgemental. I can't figure it out. Never will I ever make anyone feel bed about what they choose to eat. BUT I don't want to see that face from anyone anymore...it's kind of upsetting. Like, today...well it started last night. We went to the Capital Ale House downtown, I ordered the black bean vegetarian burger because I wanted something healthy. Other people did too. I was proud. Anyway. I've been back & forth with going for an all-vegetarian diet for a solid month or more now. It's a hard transition, for me at least. Really hard to change habits.

Well, I went through the whole day today without eating any meat whatsoever. I'm pretty proud of myself. I mean, I know it's only one day, but it's a start & i'm taking it meal by meal. I really wasn't planning on blogging about my doing this change, but I did, so here it is. Hopefully everyone will be supportive & not get on my case for it. I won't judge your eating habits, so don't judge mine. Especially while I'm getting used to this...it's no big deal, so I'm sure it will be fine. Right? :)

Damn, that's a lot of talking all for a dumb picture of an empty Ragu jar...

Day 26: Cherry Love

Grocery Shopping Sunday! Yippee! Ugh, food shopping sucks. Lugging around a giant cart of junk just to spend $200 on stuff you're gonna poop out anyway...what a way to spend a mid-morning on a day off. This is our coupon book we use...we are HUGE on coupons. Safe tons of money, takes a little longer to get them all in order, but it's definitely worth it.

erin.

Day 25: There's Some Movement On The Western Front!

Wow. So, Tra's brother finally came around & asked us BOTH to come up to his place (near DC) to have dinner with him & his fiancee...don't even get me started. To make a forever long story short, it went well. Tracy is now in the wedding & I'm actually invited. Can you believe that shit?...oh, i mean crap.

The shoe pictures are because I wore them up to dinner with a perfectly coordinating shirt & belt. Holler. Always pimpin...never changes. ha. :)

erin.

Day 24: A New Begining...

Ugh, another ridiculous week. I'm posting today to catch up. This is titled 'a new beginning' because I've begun another crochet project...yeah, that's all, nothing amazing happening. :) This is another scarf I'm making for someone I love & who needs a warm neck. Yay!

Day 23: Puffy Coat

I got an awesome deal online the other day on a new winter coat. Yes, I'm alittle late buying a coat for winter, I know. I had one that I got at Target a couple of years ago, but it SUCKS now, & wind goes right through it. In October, I bought a puffy vest (that I've been looking for forever but could never find just the one I wanted) from Lands End. Man, that company ROCKS ASS. Their stuff is really good quality & pretty affordable. It's especially affordable if you wait til they switch seasons & put winter stuff on closeout pricing...hell yeah.

So, in December, T got a new coat from there & I really liked it & she said it's warm as crap. It is too...rated to stay warm til it gets somewhere around -20 degrees or something like that. She got a brown one, & I've just today, received my 'herb green' one. Ha, it's really nice & fits all comfy-like. And I got it for $30...a $60 coat for 1/2 off. Boo-ya. I also got a hat for Tra to match her gloves & scarf that I got her for christmas AND another puffy vest (in khaki)...for $15!!! Those things are usually $35 & they have the same temp rating. Super warm. So the moral is, I got all that stuff plus shipping charges, for the same price as just the coat. Check. And. Mate. I win. :D

I love buttons.

Day 22: Man, It's Ice Outside

It's pretty damn cold out there today...17 degrees, I think. Yes, I'm sure it's much colder in PA, but we southern folk, well, we don't take much to cold. Ha, however...coming home from my morning appointments today, I noticed that our fire pit (that I never covered up before it got cold, but I don't really care) is full of water & all iced over. It's all bumpy & crater-like. So, picture time.

Bubbles!

Crater/holey/ice crack...

Have a good one! Thanks for being patient. Now, I'm all caught up. Hopefully it won't be such a huge break between posts anymore. See you tomorrow...!
erin.

Day 21: Finally

We actually did do it. Thank you, America, for actually getting something right.

erin.

Day 20: TV & Crocheting Makes Me Happy

Happy MLK Day! Tomorrow's the big day...Obama will be sworn in. AWESOME. Today though, is normal. T was off...so I trained my morning people, then came home to hang out with her. We watched some tv, & I also finished my mom's Steeler scarf! It is now friends with Tra's new scarf. But, it will be departing soon for PA, to keep my mom's neck warm while she watches the Steelers kick some Cardinal ass!

erin.

Day 19: Pittsburgh's Goin' To The Super Bowl!!

Thank you, Troy, for being awesome & locking the game up so I didn't have to be nervous til the very final second like usual.

erin.

Day 18: TRX Training = Shoot. Me. Now.

Whoa. What a day. After the ridiculously long week that I had, I had to attend a certification course for work. On a Saturday. Yeah, I know. Didn't sleep all night, (cause I was still sick) & then I have to get up at the ass crack of dawn & drive to Richmond for this program. It was an all day thing...from about 7:30 - 5:30 was my entire day. My sickness finally wore off & I started to get into what I was learning.

Let me tell you, this thing is crazy. It's the newest, most elite training you can do at the moment. It was developed by a Navy SEAL for training out in the field or in ships or submarines. You can use it anywhere that you can tie it off at a 6ft. height. It's nuts for me to try & explain what the hell it does...it's more like one of those things you just have to do to understand how FREAKING hard it is. Sore for days...that's all I have to say. Though, my abs were ripped as hell for about that time...they are usually pretty good, but that thing owned them.

The moral of the story is, I'm one of only 6 trainers at the gym presently that can even have clients do this thing. So, that's a great selling point that I plan on getting even MORE clients by using. SO GOOD. :)

Some of the exercises...what a nice book we got with it...

Ab city...every single exercise on this thing uses your core. I was sore for 3 days afterwards...

peace out...
erin.

Day 17: I'm Needy. :(

What a crap day. Super sick & still had to go to work in the morning. Ended up moving a couple of people to come home a sleep on the couch for awhile. Babycat accompanied me with the sleeping, as did my Slanket. So warm & NOT A SNUGGIE! Slankets rule. Accept NO substitutes.

erin.

Day 16: Somethin' Smells Good...

Had some time to clean up the house today. Don't know if I'm liking the composition of this one very much, but it's what you get. Bad picture day, I guess....we all have them. This is the longest week EVER...

erin.

Day 15: It's Not Clean Unless It's Tide Clean...

Amen to that. Had another couple-of-hours break...did some laundry. Had fun making this shot of a way too normal looking thing into something that I think looks pretty cool looking...old school-like. I'm learning from the master...

erin.

Day 14: Mmmmmmm....BREAD!

C'mon. Who doesn't love bread? Had a long enough break from work today to come home, clean up alittle, & make some bread. SO GOOD! Best christmas present ever!! T, you rock. ;)

erdy.

Day 13: Work, work, work....more work

Super busy day today. I'm loaded with clients...which is great for my paycheck, but bad for my energy level. Warning: Long Week Ahead...

love to all...

erin.

Day 12: Spooky Dishes

Doing some dishes today, thought he'd be a cute picture. My mom got me this for my birthday...Mmm, I think the year before last. He is awesome & cute. We leave him out year round.

erin.

Day 11: Outside Cat

Murder wants to be an outside cat SO BAD. Little does he knows how much it would totally suck if he actually was. This is him begging for me to set him free from his warm, food all the time, safe house....what a turd.

erin.

Day 10: Snoogle Scarf Done!!

Yay! Finally have some time to post...let's see how many I can get up here before I have to go back to work. Well, Friday, the 9th., I finished Tra's scarf...turned out pretty nice if I do say so myself. Isn't se cute? Also, beautifully lit by her gigantic monster of a laptop screen...

SCARF!!

a slight delay...

Hello all. I do realize that I haven't been able to sit down & post since Jan. 8th. Yes, I'm not happy with myself about it, but I don't have much of a choice in the matter. I must say that I have been taking pictures, but just have absolutely NO TIME lately. I 've been working non-stop, & on the days that I'm not working ridiculous hours, I haven't been feeling like the healthiest person on earth.

So. Please understand my delay of posting. I've yet to look at my upcoming appointments for this week...though I already know I'm busy as hell...but I promise I'll do a giant editing/posting catch-up day SOON. With that said, I hope all 2 of you that actually read this understand. The 365 will not die! Btw, GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO STEELERS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

see you soon

Day 9: Sunrise & my Fuzzies

Off most of the day today! Yay! This first shot may be one of my most favorite pictures I've taken, of Babycat, or ever. I love it. :)

Really pretty sunrise this morning. This is from the office window. It was super cold overnight, & this early morning. Ice all over the roads, but Tra got to school just fine. That's all the matters to me. :)

Another cute one of BBC...I love her. She was sleeping on the office chair. Keeping it warm for me. :)

Here's bored-ass, Rage. Or maybe sleepy...eh, both.

Ok, one more of Baby-C.

Have an awesome day everyone!! See you tomorrow...I'll actually have time to put SOMETHING up on the day that it's actually supposed to be up. That'll make it 2 in a row. Hopefully we'll do something a bit more interesting this weekend, & have some cool shots up for you. 'Til then...
erin

Day 8: Light Duty

Another packed day today. I had a short break right in the middle which left me enough time to come home, play around with Rage, do a few work-related things on the computer, & do the dishes.

Oh, & make an awesome dinner that is the perfect post-workout eat. Chicken, tons of veggies, egg whites, brown rice, alittle garlic powder & pepper...all in a super hot skillet...voila! Yes, the egg whites are cooked. You don't even notice them, & you get tons of protein that you don't even realize you're getting. Plus, you feel full FOREVER, cause it has all of the right stuff all in one pan. I win. :) Consider that your personal nutrition training for the day. That'll be $50... ;)

Boo-ya!
erin

Day 7: Catch it, Steeler!!!!

Ah, good 'ol 'Catch it, Steeler!!!'...that's my mom's favorite go-to saying when she's watching Steeler games. I really don't think she can control what she's screaming, it just kind of comes out. It's the cutest thing EVER. It's never really a Steeler game for me unless I hear that phrase. Ha.

Since she loves the Steelers so much. (She's more into football than ANYONE I've ever met) I've decided to make her a scarf with my new found crochet talent. She'll love it, & it's really coming along. I'm thinking another week & it will be in the mail. Ok, that's it. Enjoy.

I couldn't decide if this shot was too plain or not. Eh, maybe it's good...over-editing is probably the worst thing you can do...I'm guessing. Alittle bit of plain, things as how they really are is pretty good for the world sometimes.

Thanks for peeping.

erin

Day 6: Work, work, work...

This post is backwards because I forgot to add the picture first...I'm not changing it...it won't let me copy/paste. I'm sure this is fine. :)

Holy crap. Working & doing this daily picture blog is hard. Well, actually sitting, & editing, & posting is hard. This may end up being, as Tracy said last night, a 'weekend update' rather than a daily thing. I work 12+ hour days, & it's easy for me to take pictures when I get home...but not easy to post. Today is Thursday. The way my schedule worked out this week, I'm (kind of) off today...I don't go in til 6...so, posting is possible today.

I'm sure none of you really care if this is on time or not, but I don't want either of us to look like slackers. So, please remember, we are busy, busy, busy people.

In lieu of the above, here's Monday's pic. As previously stated, I'm working like crazy. Definitely a good thing, but I start to get burned out VERY quickly...all day on your feet intensly one-on-one training people can do that to you, I guess. :)

This is my appointment book...always full as hell. Not that I'm complaining...

Day 5: Outside Madness!!

I went crazy today to make up for not getting my post up yesterday. Ha! I have a super busy day set for tomorrow, but I'll definitely find time. Hell, I've almost done this for a week already, & you know they say do anything for 21 days straight & it becomes a habit. So, I'm almost 1/3 there...which, by my standards, is surprising.
Ok, I took Murder outside with me to get the paper this morning & I got the bug to take some shots outside. The following is what came if it:

My favorite of today, the end hook to Ragie's tie out...

Creepy McCreepsalot sky....
Awesome frosty grass...

swirly windchime...

& Rage's football...

Yay, backyard stuff!!
Peace out.
erin

Day 4: Crotchet Ole`!!

Sorry I missed a day. Well, just of posting. I took a picture, but didn't have time to get it online. SO, you get two days worth of pics today! Yay! Yesterday I went to a crochet/knitting party with the girls from my gym at one of their houses. Yeah, I'm a grandma...slander and laughing are not needed. Needless to say, it got a little crazy...& I actually learned something in the process! I can now crochet pretty damn good. I'm surprised...I picked it up like it was nothing. I told Tra that it must be one of my hidden talents that I didn't know I had. Scarves for everyone!!!

Good day!
